Suits you, sir!

After my "brief" hiatus from the world of blogging, there's plenty to talk about already. As always, a lot of happening in the world of fashion, and there ain't no rest for the wicked so I will just get stuck right in with talking about the staple of every working man's wardrobe - The Suit.

Every man needs at least one, it might be that he has to wear one every day for work or it's simply dug out from underneath the bed every time there's a wedding, funeral or christening. It is to women what lingerie is to men. The key to a good suit is of course, the fit. There's nothing worse than bulging buttons or outdated 80s oversized. And with suits on the high street market now, you can get one for as little as £35 for a jacket.

New Look
Not everyone has the wallet to accommodate for Saville Row tailoring, and in this economic climate it's no wonder why the high street have started to produce their own tailoring lines. Whilst also producing classic suits in tweed and dark colours, you can get more fashion-forward and trend-led styles that could even be worn for casual wear. The increase in suits on the high street may spark a trend for menswear where men dress to the nines daily, rather than the jeans and t-shirts we see so often. Besides, every man suits a suit.

Topman
Also new on the suit news-front, Tiger of Sweden has recently opened a new store in Picadilly, and has cast Rafferty Law - Jude Law's son -  as their new coverboy. 'Raffi's' look is a little more "edgy" than the traditional suited and booted gentleman, which again might spark more of an interest into tailoring and hopefully our British males will be a lot more well-dressed this season.
